Cody Wilson, the Austin man who’s been in the national news lately concerning whether he can publish instructions to 3-D-printed guns, faces felony sexual assault charges after Austin Police determined that he paid a 16-year-old girl $500 to have sex with him at the Archer Hotel in the Domain.
As first reported by the Statesman, Wilson, 30, is alleged to have met the girl on the website SugarDaddyMeet.com. The victim told authorities that she exchanged messages and nude photos with Wilson, who described himself to her – in reference to the recent media reports – as "a big deal."
At a press conference on Wednesday, APD Cmdr. Troy Officer said Wilson was last known to be in Taipei, Taiwan, and recently failed to show up for his scheduled flight back to the U.S.
