UPDATE: 9:13pm The first of the election day ballot boxes are in, and with 24 out of 237 in, there's little movement. Spelman, Martinez and Cole all performed a little better so far today than they did on early voting, and Leffingwell a little worse, but these are the smallest ballot boxes and those closest to the election division office, so there may still be some shifts before the night is over.

UPDATE 2: 9:24pm Little change in the council races, but there are still a lot of calculations being done at the Leffingwell race. With 98 out of 237 precincts reporting so far, the mayor is down to 52.71%. However, with Shea still circling in the mid-30% (36.29%, up from 33%) his enemy is the magic 50% plus one vote, not an actual opponent.

UPDATE 3: 9:50pm Getting very close to calling it. With 140 out of 237 precincts in, Leffingwell's dip has slowed. He's now on 52.43%, with Shea on 36.69%.

UPDATE 4: 9:59pm Leffingwell's lead has pretty much stabilized. With 200 of 237 precinct in, he's on 52.26%. It will take a miracle from Shea or Dafoe at this point to carve down that 2.36% margin over a runoff target.

UPDATE 5: 10.05pm The only question now is when Shea concedes. With only 20 boxes to go, Leffingwell is still on 52.08%.
