-The Texas comptroller will announce the amount of revenue the state will have available to spend in the next budget.
-As a follow-up to the 1/5/10 Newsgeist, the Consumer Electronics Show has taught us some things.
-A gunman opened fire at a Tucson mall, killing six. An Arizona Congresswoman remains in critical condition after being shot in the head.
-The new health-care law is putting doctors, hospitals, and insurers increasingly at odds.
-The Chevrolet Volt achieved the North American Car of the Year Award.
-And finally, a Northwest Iran plane crash could have been caused by equipment that was sold second-hand almost 40 years ago.
