By Raoul Hernandez, 11:20AM, Tue. Mar. 12, 2013
More than a few panicked emails rolled into the office today inquiring about South by Southwest music fest wristbands. By late afternoon, the conference confirmed that a handful of official SX venues would in fact be selling wristbands tomorow. Last-minute shoppers, your ships docks Tuesday.
Arrangements were still being made, with clubs including ACL Live at the Moody Theater, the Parish, and Elysium on a short list of venues to purchase golden tickets at on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Log into the SXSW wristband feed March 12 for all the details. This last batch sells for $180, but they won’t be eligible for the ticket lotteries to some of this year’s mondo headliners, i.e. Nick Cave, Green Day, Depeche Mode, and a few other surprises SXSW still has up its sleeve....
Updated: Here are the venues open for wristband business tomorrow (note applicable days; they differ depending on venue).
La Zona Rosa: Tues/Weds
ACL Live: Tues/Weds
The Jr: Tues/Weds
Maggie Mae's: Weds
The Parish: Tues/Wed

Update Too: The nice folks at Central Presbyterian Church called to say that wristbands go on sale at their venue and the others with the opening of SXSW showcases tonight. Yes, they’ve gotten a flood of calls today.
