Chaos in Tejas: Damned If You Don't
Fest adds UK punk legends, plus Iceage, more
By Richard Whittaker, 3:25PM, Thu. Jan. 10, 2013
Break out the ear plugs: The screaming celebration of all music brutal, Chaos in Tejas has made a neat neat neat addition to the lineup with iconic proto-Goths The Damned, plus Danish postpunkers Iceage and Pitchfork dub darling Andy Stott. Passes are on sale now.
The latest update also adds groove-heavy Virginia nihilists Satan's Satyrs, Japanese doomsters Sete Star Sept, and New Zealand's shoegazey veterans The Bats. They'll be sharing moshpits at the multi-venue fest with already announced headliners like grind gods Bolt Thrower, and local faves including Mammoth Grinder and The Mind Spiders.
The fest runs May 30-June 3, and four day passes are available now for $150 via www.chaosintejas.com
