Ignore the Winter Weather Austin, Improv will Warm Up Your Weekend!
Improv Warms All at the Paramount!
By Sarah Sharif, 4:00AM, Fri. Nov. 22, 2013
Last night's comedy was a jagged, mythical tale involving mud genitals, Jane Austen book clubs, house-sitting mishaps, the definition of normal sex, summer camps, and bridges – yes, they all were connected somehow.
I went to the Upright Citizens Brigade second show of their four-day run at the Paramount Theater last night and was thoroughly impressed with the skills of the comedians on stage.
One of the great things about an improve show is that it's always a one-time experience! I love that last night will never repeat itself in history- ever. Sharing one-time jokes with the comedians on stage and those sitting around you is worth the effort of getting out into the suddenly cold weather.
I sit here typing this in numerous layers and with the utmost admiration for the comedians I witnessed last night. You'll know what I mean if you take advantage of one of the four more chances to catch them this weekend, with 2 shows tonight and tomorrow!
