TACO to the Rescue

Texas Association of Campground Owners presents a list of campgrounds and parks offering evacuee camper discounts.

TACO to the Rescue

Check out the great list of private campgrounds and RV resorts with available space and/or offering discounts to Hurricane Ike evacuees. The list comes courtesy the fine folks at Texas Association of Campground Owners (TACO, one of the greatest acronyns ever). According to Brian Schaeffer, executive director and TACO CEO:

“Quite a few private parks are offering discounts of up to 50% on RV sites and cabin rentals to help evacuees who are looking for a low-cost place to stay as they wait out the storm."

Click here to check out the TACO List and to make campground reservations. The list includes phone numbers.
