Anything for La Bamba!
Beer, popcorn, and "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom"
By Terry Ornelas Woodroffe, 2:45PM, Fri. Nov. 14, 2014
It’s a win-win collaboration made in music heaven: The Historic Scoot Inn and Hermanos de East Austin have rallied together to provide Thanksgiving meals for 100 local families, and they need your help.

And who wouldn't want to help when it comes in the form of reveling in some South Texas goodness at the double-feature screening of Selena and La Bamba – two spectacular pop culture nuggets honoring two landmark Tejas musicians.
Would RITCHIEEEEE do “Anything for Seleeeenaaaas?” We think so. We know we would.
Donations – cash and appropriate nonperishables – will be accepted at the event. If you can't get out to this too-good-to-be-true two-fer, check out the link to donate online.
It all happens Mon., Nov. 17, 6pm at the Historic Scoot Inn, 1308 E. Fourth.
A note to readers: Bold and uncensored, The Austin Chronicle has been Austin’s independent news source for over 40 years, expressing the community’s political and environmental concerns and supporting its active cultural scene.
