Holiday season wakes from its turkey-dinner-induced slumber for another round of consumerist fun. I’m no saint, though I definitely know a few by name – thank you for sending me to confirmation classes, Mom! – so I’ll be participating. Hard to get truly in the spirit, TBH, when a bad time waits on the other side of December. Whatever, you know. Life rolls on. Queer people remain cool and strong, and when we’re not, we support each other in mutual ruin. Anyone interested in dipping a toe or two into the support pool should splash around in this week’s event deluge. You may get wet, but that’s the fun.
