On Darwin's 200th birthday, which was Feb. 12, only 39% of Americans believed in evolution.

All pure blue-eyed people have a genetic mutation, according to a study by the University of Copenhagen. By comparing the DNA of Danes with that of people from Turkey and Jordan, scientists calculated the mutation happened about 6,000-10,000 years ago in a particular individual somewhere around the Black Sea.

Olivia Newton-John likes to use a clothesline rather than a dryer, because it "makes your clothes and linens smell so good, and it is very eco-friendly."
