By Robert Faires, Fri., Sept. 14, 2007
• The Zachary Scott Theatre Center had a monster hit with Disney's High School Musical this summer, so big that the theatre is bringing it back for fall. All but three of the 30 cast members will be returning to the Texas School for the Deaf for the reprise, which runs Sept. 28-Oct. 28. Get your tickets now; your tween will thank you. For more information, call 476-0541 or visit www.zachscott.com.
• Art in Public Places will host a free public art workshop, From Paper to Permanence: Translating Your Design Into Durability, Wednesday, Sept. 19, 7-9pm, in Room 1029 of City Hall, 301 W. Second. Artist Deborah Mersky will discuss durable, architecturally viable alternatives to studio materials and translating work into the public realm.
