What is it about Ron Jeremy that gives this star of more than 600 films such ... uh, staying power? After introducing the documentary Porn Star: The Legend of Ron Jeremy at the Dobie Theatre, the hirsute “Hedgehog” attracted a motley crew of fans at the Back Room: ball-capped fanboys, hipsters with shiny ties and Small Faces haircuts, woo girls in fuck-me boots, mullet heads, pencil-necked geeks, and at least one spunky grandmother. One zealous fan even flashed his APD badge for a Polaroid with Jeremy during the autograph session. During a blessedly brief bit of stand-up comedy onstage, Jeremy summed up his appeal: “I am living proof that anyone can get laid.”
