NARRATIVE FEATURES

Sarah Jacobson's first feature film, Mary Jane's Not a Virgin Anymore, played at SXSW Film '97 and at festivals around the world.

Michael Hacker teaches classes in screenwriting in Los Angeles and is soon going to direct his second feature film. His first feature, The Destiny of Marty Fine, played at the SXSW Film Festival.

Arthur Borman is the director of Shooting Lily, which won the best narrative feature award at SXSW Film '97.

NARRATIVE SHORTS

George Langworthy's short film Breezeway played at lots of film festivals, including SXSW and Sundance.

Rachel Tsangari is a filmmaker, and also was the director of the 1997 CinemaTexas Film Festival.

DOCUMENTARY FEATURES

Lisa Viola is a programmer at the Sundance Film Festival.

Ellen Spiro is a documentarian. Her film Roam Sweet Home has been broadcast on PBS.

Don Howard`s Letter From Waco won the Best Documentary Silver Armadillo at last year`s SXSW Film Festival.

DOCUMENTARY SHORTS

Andy Garrison has been a producer at Appalshop, the well-known documentary group in eastern Kentucky. His work has been selected for film festivals worldwide including Sundance, New York, Rotterdam, and London.

Elizabeth Peters is the managing director of the Austin Film Society. She also recently served as apprentice editor on Hope Floats and cinemaestro editor on The Newton Boys. Before coming to Austin, she edited documentary films in Boston.

Joan Zapata is a documentary film editor, whose credits include Hype!.

MUSIC VIDEOS

Tara Veneruso has been making music videos for years, for such musicians as Ian Moore, Spoon, and the Sheridans. She currently works at Next Wave Films in Los Angeles as the director of filmmaker outreach.

Amy Grappell has produced a number of films and music videos, as well as working in casting for Austin Stories, The Newton Boys, and other productions.

EXPERIMENTAL SHORTS

George Sledge has edited and directed several short films, including the award-winning Life is Beautiful. He is currently producer of Austin Stories.

Charles Nafus teaches film studies in the Department of Radio-Television-Film at Austin Community College.

ANIMATION

Bob Sabiston's animated short films have been seen on MTV's Liquid Television and Spike & Mike's Festival of Animation.
