SJGI GURPS Books

SJGI's GURPS book series takes established RPGs such Werewolf: The Apocalypse and Vampire: The Masquerade (both originally published by White Wolf books) and gives them a modular context so they may be inter-played. And although there are dozens of titles available, Steve Jackson's GURPS Basic Set (SJGI, $19.95 paper) offers almost everyone an easy place to begin role-playing games. From GURPS Basic Set, it's any easy step to Vampire: The Masquerade (SJGI, $19.95 paper), one of the most popular titles, since it has related volumes such as Vampire: The Masquerade Companion (SJGL, $19.95 paper) and Blood Types (SJGI, $17.95 paper). Werewolf: The Apocalypse (SJGI, $19.95 paper) has been added also. Other genre titles include GURPS Cyberworld and GURPS Cyberpunk, GURPS Horror, and GURPS Bestiary. GURPS Middle Ages 1, GURPS Camelot, and GURPS Wild West all mix and match character role-playing. But other titles relate more to the cultural identity role-playing, including GURPS Japan, GURPS Aztec, GURPS Imperial Rome, and GURPS China. A monthly publication called Pyramid Magazine provides players with new and updated adventures and backgrounds. After all, why be yourself when you can be somebody else?
