Every Night (Reserve)

Austin's Brandon Rhyder offers a capable effort with fourth album Every Night, his subtle but powerfully trembling croon coloring the edges of country soul. The Radney Foster production opens on the swelling, epic rock edge of "Have I Waited Too Long," but Rhyder's at his best on the softer numbers like "Let's Don't Go Down That Road" and "Happy Ever After."
