St. Edward’s University was one of the first institutions in the country to build a theatre in the round, and four decades later, this campus theatre on a hill is still one of the few such stages in the city. Almost all theatre department productions here feature students working alongside professional guest artists. The Mary Moody Northen offers not only some outstanding theatre, but an unobstructed and breathtaking view of downtown Austin.
This unusual whodunnit, the 2015 Tony winner for best play, scripted by Simon Stephens
from Mark Haddon's internationally bestselling novel,
features guest artists Babs George
and Michael Dolan
among a vigorous student cast. Directed by Robert Tolaro
