I appreciated Michael King's response to the horror of the election results ["Point Austin: Afterthoughts on a National Disaster," Daily News, Nov. 18]. After citing The New Republic's Michael Tomasky's suggestion that billionaire liberals should create independent, widespread media to counter the growing tsunami of right-wing lies, it reminded me of a recent USA Today piece published in the Statesman listing a dozen GOP billionaires, among them Elon Musk, who contributes millions to Republican campaigns. While liberal billionaire George Soros is Fox News, NewsNation, and Newsmax's perennial, singular, cliched, superfunder bad guy.
