Format Feedback

RECEIVED Tue., May 21, 2024

Dear Editor,
Have to agree with the LTE writer who said you have streamlined the paper too much. He was talking about the events, I'm talking about the news. News is the main reason I read the Chronicle and I always tell my friends who don't that they are missing out on local news by not reading it.
But with the new format, it's gotten hard. You'll have a snippet that says "more online." I do value your reporting so I do try to follow up on the stories I'm interested in, BUT I probably only read about half of them because it's a pain to remember to do so at some later time (I don't read my paper near where I have online access); and then sometimes when I do, it can be hard to even find the story.
You have great reporting. Do you really want to cut down on the number of eyeballs seeing the stories? Because I think you have.
