Truth to Father Christmas

Dear Chronicle,
I cried, laughed, read and re-read the Tom Tomorrow cartoon This Modern World published in the Chronicle on December 21.
It is a keeper! And so darn true! The penguin character voiced my thoughts and frustrations precisely while talking to an unresponsive Santa Claus. To hit home even harder, my adult daughter loves “Squishmallows” and sent me two of them for Christmas.
Please commend the cartoonist on speaking Truth to Father Christmas.
We’ll see if it does any good.
