Re: The Luv Doc's recent column about a neighbor refusing to dim their security lights. Another solution is to simply change the angle of the lights so they're not pointing directly at the reader's house. Someone once told me the security light on my house was bothering them, so I just adjusted the angle, asked if that was sufficient the next day, [and] she said it was.
Failing that, they do make blackout shades for windows. It might not be the reader's preferred solution for dealing with the problem, but it will work.
