Crystal Clear

RECEIVED Tue., Oct. 19, 2021

Dear Editor,
Hi, I love your paper and find this voting recommendation paragraph extremely confusing [“Proposition 3: Against,” Endorsements, Oct. 14] . People will be reading this in the voting booth while trying to hide their cell phone, by the way, because they don’t want you to have that in the booth, so it makes it even more important to be crystal clear. I know that this amendment would make it impossible to regulate churches about COVID-19 practices. But this wording below saying that “It will never happen again“ is very confusing and needs to be reworded for clarity or you will have voters voting the wrong way I imagine. I hope this is helpful and thank you for all that you do!
