Schedule Success

RECEIVED Mon., June 14, 2021

Dear Editor,
Re: your story on the problems with the City of Austin website [“hellsite.austin.gov,” News, June 11], thought I would share my experience. In March of 2020 went on austintexas.gov/covid19 to schedule a COVID test. Took me to APH site where I answered evaluation questions to see if I needed to be tested. My answers said yes, need to test. Then was able to schedule an appointment in two or three days at convenient location, got the COVID test and then two days later got an email from APH with the results - negative. Did the same thing in August for a second test. So, for scheduling a COVID test, the City website worked very well for me.
