Having actually gotten a B.J. from the UT in 1976, I learned one thing: spelling must be correct.
You may know, maybe not. There was a big campaign to correct the name of Menchaca Rd.
Maybe, the owner of the mushroom business decided not to correct to the proper spelling and led you astray ["
Austin Mushrooms With a View to the Future," Food, March 26].
The street was named after a famous person. Look it up on the internet. We didn't correct the name of the city just the street.

Chronicle in hopes you will spell Menchaca Rd correctly. Even spell check doesn't understand it was corrected.
