Feelin' Cross at the Crosswalk

Dear Editor,
Twice this past week I have had to jump out of the path of a left-turning car while I was
already well into the legally signed crosswalk. Both times the drivers were twentysomethings & neither slowed down, once on South Congress at Mary, & once at Third & Lavaca. With schools reopening, this inattention is especially dangerous. Pay attention, drivers! Pedestrians in crosswalks have the right of way!
