Dear Editor,
The thing which irritates me the most in this “24 hour deal” concerning Diamond Joe Adler is that he has no problem leaving his bubble and jetting off to Mexico in November, but he couldn’t be bothered to come out to speak with those seeking justice on I-35 on the 31st of May. I see no issue with him having a wedding or karaoke with Sammy Hagar; that’s his personal choice and I understand. He made his Brenda Lee video so I guess that’s that. However … when police were leveling loaded weapons at children in the city where he’s supposedly in charge, he was deep in his bunker. He stands up with his daughter and her desire for a minute of romance and normalcy in an insane time and that is commendable, but he was nowhere to be found when asked to stand with up with someone else’s daughter in front of the police department steps to help lead a city wrestling with an unjust American system. I’d say that’s where you lost my vote sir but truly that happened when I found out I voted for someone dumb enough to buy a timeshare in Cabo.
