Unforgivable and Inexplicable

Love the latest issue, which includes the 30th annual "Best of Austin." Must take exception to the voter who thinks ACL Live at the Moody Theater has "great acoustics." I'm decidedly not an audiophile, but the sound there has not been good for a majority of the shows I've attended. Muddy, distorted music and/or vocal mix. Considering the cost of the ticket and that it's the 21st century, mediocre-to-bad sound is kind of unforgivable and inexplicable. I've sat on the floor, in the mezzanine, on the top level, facing the stage, on the wings, and the live sound is too frequently underwhelming or downright disappointing.
