The millionaire mayor of Austin, Texas, July 23 commentary, Austin American-Statesman, said: Want to stop people sleeping in public spaces? HOUSE THEM. Practice what you preach, how about YOU house a homeless person in your “high dollar condo,” and maybe some of your millionaire compadres will follow your lead. This city had a “homeless” problem during your first term, but all I think you wanted was “your soccer team.” You got that didn’t you? PLEASE. Don’t put this homeless problem on the citizens of Austin. We didn’t CREATE this mess. July 1, 2019, worst day for this, what used to be a WONDERFUL & CLEAN CITY.
