You Fill in the Blank

RECEIVED Fri., June 28, 2019

Dear Editor,
Jimmy [Flannigan] didn’t want to give the Kinser family a second chance at running the Butler Pitch & Putt course, because of one missed signature on the contract. He wanted to show just how much power he has on this Council. He clashed with CM Kitchen on this matter and she shut up and went to the corner. A longtime family tradition goes down the drain, like so many others in the past. Had this been an African American or a Muslim American or a Korean American family, would they have gotten a second chance at running the course?
This is Austin's version of the “Big Three” running this city (Stevie [Adler], Jimmy, and Greg [Casar]). The rest of this lame Council just follows their lead. Can’t wait till the next election, hopefully to rid the dais of these _____ (you fill in the blank). Spencer [Cronk], you still happy you chose to come to Austin to be city manager? Bless your heart, I’ll bet you had no idea what you were getting yourself into.
