Dear Editor,
[The lack of] accessibility around the city should not come as a shock [“
Access Denied,” News, July 28]. Our transit system, already poorly planned in relation to municipal expanding size, is actually considering withdrawing fixed route stops away from the locations which people access such as jobs, medical care, social services, food, and even our own housing. Capital Metro remains staunchly disinterested in properly servicing the people who actually do need public transportation for survival, instead trying to chase those who
might try it for a ride or two. Bring in management who themselves use public transit!
