In response to Michael King's article, "Why Does Everyone Hate CodeNEXT?" [News, June 9]:
I can't speak for everyone – in fact, it takes a collectivist mindset to presume to speak for others. But the fact that a handful of statist control freaks, who don't own the land, can presume to tell everyone else in Austin what they can do with the land they do own, with the threat of discreet violence to those who think the statists should mind their own business and leave us alone to use our land as we please ...
Well, such antisocial behavior makes me want to tell them to go live their own lives and quit butting into other people's lives. I was going to say, "want to tell them to go fuck off," but I thought, nah, don't go there.
