True story. This was one of those what the fuck moments. My wife was in the woman’s bathroom at the Erwin Center during the recent Stevie Nicks concert. Some dude busted in screaming "I’m a girl, I’m a girl!" He went down the row, pushing every stall door open. My wife told him to get out. He pushed her down and ran out. She hurt and bruised her knee and sprained her wrist. He’s lucky I wasn’t there or this would have been a whole different story. An Erwin Center employee saw what happened and they kicked the guy out. Asked about pressing charges, they were told he didn’t break any laws by being in there. Well, isn’t that great? I doubt her story will be told since it backs up what Dan Patrick has said. Put this longtime, old Austin hippie behind the bathroom bill.
