'Page Two' Is Missed

RECEIVED Mon., April 23, 2012

Dear Mr. Black,
We miss you. For as long as we’ve been reading the essential Austin Chronicle, we turn first to your “Page Two,” and have for years. We rely on your insights, observations, experience, and humor. Your column frames this paper. We did not like it when you (was it you?) decided to reduce the length, but even a shortened version is better than this – no “Page Two” at all. And no, we will not be reading your blogs online. We want to read Louis Black in the paper itself.
We understand why you’ve taken your leave. So please … rest, heal, get strong. But Mr. Black, please come back.
Thank you.
