The Voters Who Count Are the Ones That Vote

Dear Editor,
    Re: "Having been elected by 10% or so of the eligible voters – which is to say by roughly a 5% share of upmarket neighborhood homeowners who take an obsessive interest in these things" ["Point Austin," News, Oct. 14].
    Do you mean to imply that someone who takes the time to follow local issues and who votes in every election is not as good a voter as someone who does not? If so, I could not disagree with you more.
