Bicycle Road Rage?

Hello,
Has anybody else gotten cussed at while passing a bicycle rider lately? I've noticed more and more that bicyclists are riding in the middle of a car lane – I've got no problem with this usually, but when you pass them, they cuss at you. Can somebody educate me on what is goin' on? I bicycle all over the place but have just noticed this lately … weird. Now we've got bicycle road rage? You can't pass a bicycle?
