Dear Editor, Recently, my friend and I drove around and around in circles, looking for a parking space Downtown. How many miles have you logged in your lifetime doing that? Years ago the city could have partnered with private investors to provide decent, affordable parking. If not for us lowly residents, at least for the tourists! The greedy SOBs who gouge us for parking fees would really scream. So, let's do this. Build the parking facility, then herd all the parking-lot owners into a room. Then the mayor can say, "I'm going to count to three … now let me hear you s-c-r-e-a-mmm!"
