'Chronicle' Mistake: Gonzales Was Not Prosecuted

RECEIVED Thu., Jan. 7, 2010

Dear Editor,
Re: “Does the Open Meetings Act Go Too Far?” [News, Jan. 8]: I would like to request a correction to a point made in this article. It indicates that Victor Gonzales was prosecuted. I was not prosecuted. A complaint was filed with the Williamson County D.A. alleging a violation of TOMA. An investigation was conducted, and the complaint was dismissed as not having any merit. There was never any indictment or prosecution. Just for the record. Thank you.
Victor Gonzales
