Dear Editor, Think about it. The kind of abhorrent mass murder that took place at Fort Hood occurs on a daily basis in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Pakistan. Not all of, but a percentage of this murder is inflicted by U.S. weaponry. The number of civilians killed by U.S. predator drones alone has risen exponentially over the last year. Why not extend the grieving for our own fallen to all innocents who suffer from our country's continued policy of war, occupation, and, yes, mass murder? And contemplate the fact that we, as taxpayers, are facilitating this mass murder.
