Don't Help Homeless

RECEIVED Tue., Oct. 20, 2009

Dear Editor,
Re: “Homeless Campaign Hypocritical” [“Postmarks,” Oct. 16]: Mr. McCulloch writes "charity, which, to be blunt, does not solve problems but rather assuages guilt and … helps absolve the hard-hearted of the obligation to pay the rather hefty real taxes that are going to be needed to truly address homelessness."
Just to set the record straight, it is not the taxpayer's obligation to subsidize the homeless. And, in case you are wondering, it is also not our obligation to disrobe, bend over, grab our ankles, and let you sodomize us whenever you left-wing nuts feel like redistributing the fruits of our labor. Apartments for bums this time – unbelievable.
Best regards,
Paul Wilson

p.s. This "hard-hearted" taxpayer gives generously to children's charities. You can give your money to the bums. Stay out of my business, and I will stay out of yours.
