Can't the 'Chronicle' Find More Relevant Stories?

RECEIVED Tue., Aug. 18, 2009

Dear Editor,
Re: “The Hidden Costs of Free” [Screens, Aug. 14]: Does Marc Savlov read the Wall Street Journal? Specifically, did he read it on August 6? I hadn't, but I did read Slate and its story about bogus, hype-fueled trend stories!
Please, enough already. The Downtown Austin death trap article was more than sufficient [“Crime and the City Solution,” Music, June 26]. Can the Chronicle find no more relevant stories to print in its pages?
