And it just goes on and on and on. Get over it Ryan Clinton/FixAustin [“How Many Cats Did Austin Save Last Year?,” News, April 3]. Were you ever denied anything as a child? It just seems you never learned to deal with not getting what you want. Meanwhile, the rest of us are out doing something on the front lines. How many dogs or cats have you taken in for spay/neuter this year? Have you gone to the Capitol to lobby for the proposed state spay/neuter ordinance? How about this: Did you even attend the hearing on the cock-fighting bill? No? How many times have you been to Petland to protest? Did you even go in and lobby for the puppy mill/puppy lemon law bill? How about adoptions? Did you have time to do any of those this year? Did you even foster? Just what do you do besides attack the Town Lake Animal Center and Dorinda Pulliam? Do you do anything at all for animals besides complain? Just let the shelter move go, and move on. Get over it! It's a done deal! Get out and do something besides bitch, bitch, bitch. I'm tired of it. Austin is tired of it, and the rest of the mainstream animal community is tired of it. Get a life. Do something that will actually make a difference in the lives of Austin's cats and dogs, or just go away. Anything besides this constant tirade of accusations and half truths. Please Ryan? Just get over it, and do something productive. If not for yourself then for the dogs and cats whom you claim to champion.
