Dear Editor, Theft of time and money are the means by which the government continues to oppress its people. This is evident in new local government sponsored programs such as TexasSure. Also known as vehicle insurance verification, it grants quasi-government agencies access to various sources of citizen information. Giving these authority agencies the ability to immediately determine auto insurance coverage on any vehicle. This compulsory law allows these agencies to continually profile and target the same residents/areas in efforts to guarantee revenue for the city. Not having (proof) of auto insurance coverage is now a jailable offense followed (indefinitely) by dozens of fines, penalties, and surcharges. Private insurance corporations, under the illusion of "benefit" and "safety,” have secured endorsement of their product from the government through state law. TexasSure sure better enforce the same laws and penalties on drivers with out-of-state plates. Texas drivers should not be held to a higher standard of compliance with state law when there are thousands of "visitors" in the state using the same infrastructure. Locals should also receive the same equality as noncitizens (illegals) who have an alliance within the state where identifying numbers, credit reports, and taxes are not required. Here at home, the Austin City Council recently made obtaining a music permit just that much harder, now requiring an auditor to assess potential outdoor music venues prior to permit approval. City Council plans to establish another bureaucratic department which will delay the permit process and take more time and money away from citizens. In the future, people may be best served to think twice, even thrice, before continuing to pay money and time to any quasi-government agency. And we cannot ignore this as the country's handsome, Wall Street, globalist leader perpetuates the former administration's legacy of corporatized government. Big business and its lobbyists make the law, politicians are corporate commodities, people are enslaved by the government as long as the elite few maintain complete control of it all. Those who continue to unknowingly support the (president's) globalist agenda should ponder – exactly whose dream is being realized?
