Absolute Betrayal Against Our Country

Dear Editor,
Right-wing talk radio plays straight out of the Joseph Goebbels Nazi propaganda playbook: lie, lie, lie. Keep lying. Make it a big lie. When presented with evidence that contradicts the lie, keep lying. When someone produces incontrovertible evidence exposing the lie, shoot the messenger! I'm glad that the left has finally decided to fight fire with fire. For people like Rush Limbaugh and his ilk to suddenly proclaim that Republicans need to stand up against a wasteful Obama government and obstruct at every opportunity is worse than lying: It is absolute betrayal of the highest order against my country! Rush is the Judas of our times, but Judas received only 40 pieces of silver for his betrayal – Rush has gotten more than $440 million. I suppose that Judas betrayed only one man, whereas Rush has betrayed an entire nation – perhaps $440 million is a bargain considering.
