What Are Texas Officials Discussing in Private?

RECEIVED Fri., Oct. 31, 2008

Dear Editor,
What are our Texas government officials discussing in office? In my opinion, as citizens we’re not receiving information regarding proposed laws and policies. Do you know what the Trans-Texas Corridor is? There might be a reason why you don’t know. Our own Gov. Rick Perry and some members of the state Legislature planned the current corridor development before it was publicized, not allowing us a chance to voice our opinions. This corridor could or could not influence economic benefits. The point is, as citizens that make up the land of the free, we were not given the communication we should have received on this issue. What else do we not know?
