Did Not Like Cover of Frightened Kitten

Dear Editor,
I, and many others, did not like your choice for the cover showing a kitten, a frightened kitten, with a gun to its head [Oct. 3]. People are cruel to cats as it is and especially in the month of October with Halloween coming up. A lot of people I speak to do not like the cover. Maybe you could use a picture of your own head next time.
