Dear Editor, Maybe Sarah Palin would consider becoming Texas' governor. She might be attracted to the state, because Texas is reported to be leading the entire nation in teenage pregnancy. Of course, the contribution to this outcome of school boards, local and county officials, religious leaders, and the state Legislature should be acknowledged. It seems that “abstinence only” sex education, which Palin preaches and apparently practices, is required exclusively in Texas, and that would be a good fit for her as it is for her Republican friends here. A Palin administration here would no doubt keep Texas on top and No. 1 for its teenage daughters being “barefoot and pregnant,” or at least pregnant.
