The Seriousness of Our Predicament

RECEIVED Wed., Aug. 27, 2008

Dear Editor,
How about the drubbing the Dems gave President Bush at the convention? Bush has bad economic ideas. Bush doesn't care about the uninsured. Bush has no compassion. Could he have gotten more of a kid-glove treatment than that?
Truth be told (and neither party will tell the truth), Bush and Dick Cheney are war criminals. Bush and Cheney lied their asses off to get us into a protracted, expensive, immoral war to benefit big oil. Bush and Cheney have dismantled separation of powers and the constitutional rights of Americans. Bush and Cheney should have been impeached and gone to jail.
The one thing they got right is that John McCain will continue the destruction of this country, but they soft-pedaled the seriousness of our predicament.
