Another Waste of Ink and an Insult to Readers

RECEIVED Fri., July 4, 2008

Dear Editor,
I saw your piece on Johnston High on July 4 [“Johnston High School Is Dead; Long Live ...?” News], and like "Mala Sangre" [News, Oct. 31, 2003] it is another waste of ink and an insult to your readers. Sit down with Pat Forgione and ask about his success in breaking Johnston down to the pile of misery it is now. Compare his original plans he brought in to the ethnic displacement taking place at LBJ, and name the proxies. Me? All I want to know is why, during his tenure, not one single AISD graduate figured in the district's top payroll earners, despite successive increases in property taxes. Go on … before you start on his "legacy.”
