Dear Editor, As president of the largest wild blueberry company I will offer this explanation for why wild blueberries are more healthy than cultivated blueberries. It is simple. The health benefit is a function of the color intensity. Since wild blueberries are one-third the size of cultivated blueberries they have a more intense skin-to-pulp ratio, and color is contributed by the skin. More color per pound, more benefit.
