There Is No Crap, No Matter How Inane, That Republicans Can Sell That I Won't Buy!

RECEIVED Mon., April 10, 2006

Dear Editor,
In the April 6, 2006 Wall Street Journal, Ken Ballen, president of the nonpartisan organization Terror Free Tomorrow, proclaimed that “Radical Islam has become a mass movement throughout the Muslim world.” Mr. Ballen warns that if America reverts to a police action approach to solving this deadly problem, humanity will be in dire straits. Although Mr. Ballen's recipe for victory seems to bizarrely rely on a mushy humanitarian assistance strategy, his central point is cogent.
Whether America will continue to forcefully defend civilization against Islamist fascism will depend on the U.S. Congress empowered this November. Unfortunately, irrational neo-leftist utopians within the academy, mass media, and their operative political arm – the Democratic Party – have a chance of fooling the American electorate into believing that the Islamist Jihadist enemy is not really that dangerous. If the neo-leftist Democrats gain control of the U.S. Congress the Islamist fascist enemy will be greatly empowered. With certainty a neo-leftist Congress will withdraw American forces from Iraq resulting in Islamists rushing in to take over. The Iranian fascists Mullahs will thrust forward to acquire nuclear weapons. It will assure a threat level unequal to any previously experienced – including Nazi and communist tyranny.
The Democratic Party cannot be allowed to wield political power. If they are, America and the free world will be in profound danger of near-term extermination. Humanity will be exposed to the iron rule of Islamist Sharia tyranny where women and non-Muslims will be enslaved and homosexuals summarily executed. The road to victory over Islamist fascism requires electoral defeat of all Democrats and the election of conservative, freedom-defending Republicans. Conversely, the road to hell is to turn America and the free world over to Democratic Party hand puppets of neo-leftist luminaries such as Howard Dean, Michael Moore, George Clooney, and Susan Sarandon.
