Oppose Big Brother

RECEIVED Tue., April 5, 2005

Dear Editor,
An alarming proposal currently before the state legislature, HB 2893, is going to require that a tracking chip be placed in every vehicle in Texas. This chip will be located in the windshield sticker proving current vehicle registration. As proposed, the chip will electronically monitor you throughout the state to verify that you have paid all your taxes and insurance (and are otherwise behaving). This is Big Brother in your car, and should be opposed.
